Miss Ellie Tea House
Quaint little cafe somewhere which is quite far from the city centre.
This hidden gem is located at Greater KL, with about 30 minutes drive from the city centre with the traffic.
Never would you have thought this small little cafe is always full!
Flourless Orange Poppy Seed Cake (RM6.50)
Pandan Panna Cotta (RM6.50)
Crème brûlée (RM8.50)
Apparently their scones is one of the best in town! I've got to try it again someday. Someday...
Tea for 1 Pax (RM6.50)
Their prices are really cheap actually. How can you get good desserts for anything lower than RM10 these days in the heart of Kuala Lumpur?
Sliced cakes are all below RM10, A slice would be at about RM6-RM8 on an average. Cupcakes are about RM5-6? And they come in original size, not even small or medium ones.
This is definitely the right place to be for afternoon tea, the location may not be the best, but if you'd like to have good sweets and tea, just make a trip down to Taman Melawati.
Apart from sweet bites, there are also savoury and hot food. Pastas, bangers and mash, and some other choices I can't remember. Though I'd say, reserve the space for all the desserts! The in house decors are so pretty, shame I didn't get a picture of it. Next time!
