This quaint little shop is located in one of arcades in the High Street. There are a couple of arcades, very pretty lanes where it reminds me of Melbourne! Like Royal Arcade, Degraves Street! Ahhh! Nostalgic.
Still not very good at coffee, but at least I didn't find it diluted. It was alright but not something to shout about.
The duck egg croissant with bacon is really to die for! Those eggs mmmmm.... It's just nicely done, not overcooked. It feels different from chicken egg, it's much more juicier and creamier!
Do drop by for breakfast if you're around in town... Grab the duck egg croissant if they do have it still, or some cakes as they do look wonderful (Taste? Not too sure). (:

According to the cousin, it is a MUST to try Lady M's crepe cakes. Just by looking at their finely baked cakes, I felt the need to try everything!!
Though, I've only resorted to one slice...
One slice of super rich and heavenly green tea mille crepe cake... It looks really heavy but the mousse is really light..
One piece to share, as we had too much to eat for the day.. Though I wouldn't if I could finish it all by myself!
P/S: I'm not really a cake person, but I have to give it a like! I'd definitely their signature crepe cake, or some other selection the next time I step into Lady M! :D

This has got to be my new favourite neighbourhood cafe! They serve Green Tea Latte (RM10)! How rare...
The sandwich is freshly made, you know it's right when the bread is nicely toasted and the meat is still lukewarm! We had slight complications with the bread but the lady (presumably the owner or the manager) resolved it really quickly. She was so apologetic about it (and I felt quite bad as I did not want anything in return) and insisted to give us a slice of lemon cake as compensation. Don't get me wrong, this has nothing to do with the taste, this Pork Bacon Sandwich (RM16) is highly recommended!
Never would I have thought that the Chicken Chop (RM17) would turn out to be so good! I was just expecting mediocre quality, like typical ones you get at the mamak stalls where you would have to rely on sauces because it is too dry. But nooooo... The meat is so succulent! I don't even need the brown sauce at the side to do justice.. I actually love it without the sauce!
Brunch was absolutely fantastic I had to get myself a slice of cake after.
I've gotten us a slice of Jasmine Green Tea Mille Crepe Cake (RM13), as I do not really fancy chocolate based cakes (apart from Red Velvet!). I really love this cake, it is not sweet at all, which suits me well. It has really strong combination of both green tea and jasmine flavours. You tea lover might love it!
I will definitely be back again for brunch, their food is really worth paying for. Their selection of cakes are great plus the service is excellent. What else can you ask for from a neighbourhood cafe?!

The guy who served us decided to give us two scoops of ice cream for free. Their ice cream are all homemade and he made us guess the flavour!
Green one is sea salt ice cream and pink one is brandy raisin. We were just so surprised with the ice cream, it's not your usual cookie & cream or vanilla.. It's just something different.
We decided to get one scoop ourselves, since it's good so why not. The Truffle Ice Cream (RM15) is unbelievably good! They use real truffle and the amount is so generous!
My favourite for the night isn't their savoury food, but their ice cream. Amazing way to present the food, but the ice cream is much more tempting than anything else!

VCR is quite popular for their coffee and brunch choices. It is the corner unit of a row of houses.
Brunch selection starts from RM19. Sounds pricey... Better be good.
It's a very good place for Instagram worthy photos...
Apparently the barista in this cafe won some awards before. I've overlooked the coffee menu, if I realised it earlier I would have ordered the specialty instead of the regular cappuccino. Cakes at the display rack looks pretty neat and it comes with a price tag!
Soft Shell Crab Burger (RM26++)
Great brioche, lightly pan fried with deep-fried soft shell crab. Not too bad! Just a little messy when we started digging into it.
VCR Big Breakfast (RM35)
To me, this is an absolute rip off. The salad is covering the empty white spaces on the plate. The portion is absolutely shocking. Sliced tomatoes, not even half of the tomato used, same goes to the mushroom. One tablespoon of beans, two sausages as long as an iPhone 5, two miserable streaky bacons and eggs. With that kind of sad portion I do hope that at least the eggs are free range or whatever higher quality eggs. It looks "big" because those rockets and spinach are eating up most of the plate! That plate costs possibly RM25 at most. I wouldn't order this anymore, don't see the value in it.
I'm not too sure about their brunch choices, but I'm perfectly fine for a cup of coffee and a slice of cake.

Drinks selection
Green Power: Banana, Spinach, Green Apple & Yogurt (RM15)
Red Wine Hot Choc (RM18)
This reminds me of mulled wine with chocolate! Interesting combo :)
Beeramisu (RM18)
Tiramisu with really bitter beer taste. I did not like it at all, I find it super bitter but my friend loved it. I guess it's not the type of dessert for all.
I personally loved everything that night except Beeramisu. I'll definitely be back to try out other dishes too, the fried poached egg looks absolutely mouthwatering!

We were greeted by this really unfriendly staff... and that was my first impression even though the cafe is cute and pretty.
RM12.90 for Churros and chocolate (I stupidly asked for Kaya because I thought it'd be a great combo!)
Turns out that it was the biggest mistake that night.. The Kaya tasted awfully weird. I should have just stick to their recommendation which is the chocolate!!
So I had to signal them from far, just to request for a takeaway box. The staff responded by lifting his hand and push his palms towards his direction asking me to go over instead. I did not because it's would be so funny to carry this all the way to the counter... I didn't sign up for your job, did I? It was just this one particular guy who is really lazy and unfriendly. Other staffs seemed normal.
Aside to that, I might try again if I ever crave for chocolate. They have plenty of chocolate selections for all you chocolate lovers!

The new hip cafe in Bangsar using rose as the theme, inspired from Pierre hermé I believe.
Red Velvet Cake (RM15) and Rose Latte (RM12) for afternoon tea. The cake is huge and moist! I couldn't finish it all by myself. The rose flavours are super strong, not just your slight hint. It depends on personal preference whether you like it strong just or just a slight hint. Their version is really very strong.
