Hi tea at Chinoz On The Park, KLCC

Friends suggested hi-tea last weekend. He saw the menu from Chinoz on the Park, they have a RM48 tea set for two. The ambience is really beautiful. If you sit on the terrace, it feels almost like you're in Sydney's Darling Harbour.

However the food is pretty much ok. Wait, let me rephrase that. They food is edible but not worth the price. Everything that comes in the tea set tasted like any other food from the bakery. We ordered two sets for four to share. The two set we've got had completely different selections of sweets. One of us was disappointed that her's didn't come with chocolate cake. And another complaint that she didn't have the cupcake. Of all the foods on the plate, the best was the smoked salmon on bruschetta. That one is seriously kick ass.

We also ordered an extra plate of churros from the ala carte menu to compensate our disappointment. Unfortunately, it just added more to our disappoinment. It tasted like fried flour, that's all. The best churros in Malaysia can be found in a small humble shop in 1-Utama called Molten Lava.

On top of all the not-so-satisfying tea set and tasteless churros, the service there was pretty bad. The waitress had poker face and they didn't seem that happy serving us. They were quit slow as well. Oh, well... At least the tea was good.
